(EN) ABSTRACT BATTERY AND BATTERY MODULE The disclosure provides a battery and a battery module. The battery includes a battery housing and a cap assembly; the battery housing includes a body, and the body includes a side wall extending in a first direction and an end wall connected to an end of the side wall; the end wall includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other in the first direction, and the first surface faces an explosion-proof sheet of the cap assembly; and the end wall is provided with a groove on the second surface, and the groove is recessed from the second surface towards the first surface.
