The present utility model relates to a ready-to-cook rice-shaped kernel which is made from white corn flour, wherein the source of the flour is the white corn grit. It is comprised of 95.00- 99.50 wt% white corn flour, 0.1-1.0 wt% vegetable oil, 0.1-1.0 wt% gum arabic, 0.01-0.1% citric acid, and water (q.s.). The present utility model provides for an alternative to rice, that will be beneficial to relief good supply in cases where there is low supply of rice, and especially beneficial to children due to nutritional content.
